Diethanol Isopropanolamine (DEIPA)

DEIPA is a colorless to yellow transparent viscous liquid with some ammonia smell.

DEIPA as cement grinding aids:

DEIPA has a good grinding aid performance. This is in line with the current trend of low-carbon and green environmental protection of cement grinding aids. It can be used directly as cement grinding aids without the addition of any other compounds.

DEIPA as accelerators:

DEIPA has a strong advantage in strength of both early strength and late strength. At the same time, due to its low toxicity, it will not pollute the environment during its use.

DOVEMIX – 285 D is an alkanol amine used as a cement grinding aid as it prevents cement particles from re-agglomerating during and after the grinding process, resulting in increasing process time efficiency, material uniformity and decreasing process energy cost. It is preferred as a grinding aid more than TIPA and TEA. It can be used as an accelarating admixture to significantly increase the early and final strength of concrete. It can be used alone, and can be with TEA,TIPA and other alcohols, amine ester used material compatibility. It consist of 85% solid with clear appearance.

As accelerators: Alkanolamines are known to also influence the hydration of cement. DEIPA can promote the hydration process thus increase the early strength.

As cement grinding aids: DEIPA is commonly used in cement manufacture to reduce electrostatic forces between powder particles and reduce agglomeration as cement grinding aids. This reduction leads to increase in fineness of the cement, increase the specific surface area, optimize the grain size distribution, reduce grinding energy, and increasing production.
