A thick bent wood panels could be formed by layers of wood which glued together by an adhesive, in a process with shaped platen press machine. Layers of veneer is top glued and cured on high pressure with high frequency or heating by steam.

Formaldehyde adhesive could be used in bentwood forming. Hotpress machine would be similar to plywood process, but high frequency press machine need more time to allow resin layers to cure. Formaldehyde resin for bentwood process is common plywood glue , but for HF process we suggest higher solid content to reduce curing time.
