PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

TIPA is a colorless substance with a slight amine-like odor. It is readily soluble in water, ethanol, glycol, and acetone. However, TIPA is only slightly soluble in hydrocarbons and diethyl ether.

TIPA as cement grinding aids

TIPA has excellent grinding aids performance and enhance the fluidity of cement. TIPA has a polar group and a spatial three-dimensional structure, which can narrow the particle size distribution of cement particles and improve the fluidity of cement.

TIPA as accelerators

TIPA can improve the middle strength and late strength of cement. It can also improve dispersibility and age enhancement.

BY TYPE

DM-185 E

DOVEMIX – 185 E is an alkanolamine (Triisopropanolamine) used as a cement grinding aid to prevent cement particles from agglomeration during and after the grinding process, increase process time efficiency, material uniformity and decreasing process energy cost. It can enhance the final strength of concrete.

BY APPLICATION

Construction
  • As accelerators: Alkanolamines are known to also influence the hydration of cement. TIPA has been used as setting accelerator and strength enhancer at later ages.
  • As cement grinding aids: TIPA is commonly used in cement manufacture to reduce electrostatic forces between powder particles and reduce agglomeration as cement grinding aids. This reduction leads to increase in fineness of the cement, increase the specific surface area, optimize the grain size distribution, reduce grinding energy, and increasing production.
Others

TIPA has wide application. TIPA used as an emulsifier, stabilizer, surfactant, and chemical building block. It can neutralize pH, stabilize pH and add basicity to a solution. Major applications include water-based coatings and agricultural products. Improves the grinding efficiency resulting in energy savings, prevents from agglomeration or clumping as water reducing agent for cement or concrete industry, improve corrosion protection and anti-oxidant in metal working, rubber curing as a chain terminator in isoprene polymerization, improve polyurethane foam quality.
